We have been involved in discussions with the management of The Spring, the brand new Arts and Heritage Centre at Havant with regard to introducing a programme of Family History Events in 2010.

First and third Wednesdays of each month - 7.30pm to 9.30pm in the Research Room.

This new Family History Group is open to all and is run by Staunton Park expert genealogists whose website is at www.stauntoninfo.co.uk

During the sessions the genealogists can help you solve your family history problems. The tools available for you to hunt your family history are free Internet access, records on CD, Microfiche and the printed word, plus access to Staunton Park Genealogy Centre's own records which cover the whole of the UK and contain a wealth of knowledge unsurpassed in this area.

There will also be regular instruction, talks on various subjects allied to family history (sometimes a charge will have to be made here), films, trips out and lots more - we certainly hope it will be an exciting adventure and we look forward to many members of the public joining us.

So whether you are an amateur or an experienced researcher please join us on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month.
