Meetings at Havant Academy - October - Tuesdays 14th and 28th.

Saturday, 4th October - We are staging the Annual Family History and Heritage day in Eastleigh Library. Amongst those attending will be The New FamilySearch team, Eastleigh Railway Preservation Group, A.H. Rogers (Funeral Directors), Staunton Park Genealogy Centre, Romsey Family History Group, Bishopstoke Family History Group. Hampshire Record Office, The Solent Model Railway Group, Family History Help Desk, and ourselves with five others awaited. There are also talks and films during the day.

Saturday, 11th October - Calling into Eastleigh Library at 10am for the monthly monthly Drop-ins.

Wednesday to Friday, 15th to 17th October - We will be in Fareham Library from 10am to 4pm conducting Research Drop-ins. Here you can get advice and help with any Family History problems you may have.

Saturday, 18th October - We will be staging the annual Family History and Heritage Fair in Fareham Library. Amongst others attending will be The New FamilySearch team, the Ashcroft Arts Centre, Fareham History Group, Ss Peter and Paul's Church, Hampshire Record Office, Portsmouth Record Office, The Olympic Games History Display, Fareham and Portchester Model Railway Club, Family History Help Desk,Go with the Flow Children's Research, The Spinners and ourselves. There are also talks and films during the day. The Library Book Sale will also be open. What a day it will be!

Saturday, 1st November - We will be at the 40th Anniversary Open Day of the West Surrey Family History Society at Woking Leisure Centre.

Saturday, 8th November - We will be back at Eastleigh Library at 10am for the Drop-ins.

Plans in early stages for regular Drop-ins at Fareham and Havant from November and also laying plans for a possible Family History Club for adults and another Children's Family History and Planning Club. Life is never quiet!
